R.I.M.

What is it?

The Reaction Injection Molding is a technique for the production of plastic parts, using a low pressure injection molding with thermosetting resins. The R.I.M. can be used on different kind of mold, the most commonly used one being the resin mold. We offer different approaches based on necessity:

  • Milling from solid mold
  • Ureol molds (100-200 prints)
  • Mold-based rapid prototyping
  • Silicone molds (up to 25-50 printed)
  • Hybrid Mold (50-100 printed)
  • Mold resin reinforced with fibers (200-300 prints)
  • Mold resin with aluminum support (up to printed 300-1000), depending on the complexity of the piece
